A new Democratic National Convention ad is causing quite a stir with people. The short video’s verbiage is seen as “creepy” by some as it says, “the government is the only thing we all belong to” and “we can use Government in a good way”, insinuating big government solutions. Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney fired back with a tweet (Twitter) that said, “We don’t belong to government, the government belongs to us” mirroring a similar remark from Clint Eastwood’s during the RNC convention when he said, “We own this country”.
This latest remark will likely be another campaign talking point as the Presidential race heats up.
